Did you know that optimizing your healthcare plan can contribute directly to your company’s survival and growth?  ✨ When we compare the benefits of healthcare savings to findings from a recent college essay, “Ten Reasons Why Companies Keep Failing,” the connections are clear. Let’s explore how healthcare optimization addresses these pitfalls:

This week I’m in Denver for RosettaFest 25, spending time with some of the best advisors, physicians, pharmacy leaders, specialty medical providers, and business owners who are proving every day that there is a better way to deliver healthcare.

My own journey into this movement began years ago when I read a Forbes article written by Health Rosetta co-founder Dave Chase . His message struck me at a time when I was wrestling with my own awareness that the health plans I had spent 25 years developing and delivering weren’t transparent, weren’t aligned with members, and weren’t truly built to serve employers or employees.

I had dug deeper into the Affordable Care Act than most of my peers, and while many in the industry seemed content to ignore the misaligned incentives and lack of transparency, it didn’t sit right with me. It still doesn’t. That realization pushed me to look beyond the traditional playbook—and it still motivates me today.

When I joined Health Rosetta in its early days, I was part of the third cohort, one of just 150 advisors nationwide. Back then, this movement felt like a small circle of changemakers. Since then, it has grown tenfold, powered by visionaries who have built High-Performance Health Plans from the ground up—plans that deliver on the promises that health insurers and hospital systems only pretend to strive for.

#RosettaFest25 is the living proof of that work. These plans reduce costs by 20–40%, improve benefits for employees and their families, and eliminate the waste and hidden profiteering that have drained employers and eroded trust for decades. They show that when incentives are aligned and transparency is prioritized, everyone wins—except those who profit from the broken system.

For CEOs, CFOs, and HR leaders, this should serve as both inspiration and a challenge. The truth is simple: rising costs, shrinking benefits, and limited options are not inevitable. They are symptoms of a system designed to keep you in the dark. But you don’t have to play along. You can demand transparency. You can reset your expectations. And you can build a health plan that actually works—for your people and your business.

I’ll be sharing insights from my time here in Denver in the weeks ahead. My hope is that you’ll see what’s possible and feel compelled to take action. The cost of inaction will always outweigh the effort of change. It’s time to stop being victims of the heist and start building health plans that live up to their purpose: caring for people while strengthening organizations.

There are too many amazing speakers and presenters to mention, but here are a few. If you want to break free from the profit and people draining health plan that has been failing you for years, this is a great place to start.
