Imagine your driving down the highway and the gas warning sensor in your car chimes to let you know you are running low on gas. You pull off the highway and come to an intersection. There are two gas stations at the intersection, one on each side of the street. You sit there in amazement because it is the first time you’ve ever noticed the signs posting the price of gasoline per gallon. As your mind is spinning with this new information, a few things might cross your mind as you decide which station to pull in to.
– The gas on the right must be better because it costs more….right?
– The gas station on the left must have more customers, otherwise how could they less gas cheaper?
Should this be acceptable in healthcare?
